Key Takeaways
- Under eesel AI pricing, one credit covers a ticket or chat and costs from $0.60 at 500 credits to $0.35 at 5,000.
- Extra eesel credits cost $0.80, about a third above the 500-credit rate, and unused credits don't roll over.
- You still pay your help desk, so six Zendesk Suite Team agents plus 1,500 eesel credits run $1,113 monthly at list prices.
- Since late 2024, eesel has used three pricing models and cut the 5,000-credit price from $1,899 to $1,749 by 6 October 2026.
- At about 4 to 7 credits each, Helply covers 1,500 conversations for $399 to $589 monthly, help desk and unlimited users included.
eesel AI Pricing at a Glance
You run support for a team of six on Zendesk, and about 1,500 tickets arrive each month. On eesel's pricing page, 1,500 credits cost $699 a month with no seat fee. Your Zendesk Suite Team invoice still arrives, though, at $414 for six agents, and it grows with every hire.
In a busy month, you can get more tickets than your batch covers. Search for eesel pricing and you'll find four different price lists. Some pages still put 5,000 credits at $1,899, while eesel's pricing page shows $1,749.
The eesel AI plans for October 2026 run from a free trial to a $5,000 managed service, with two add-ons on top.
| Plan | Monthly price | What you get | Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 for 7 days | 100 credits, every feature and integration, no card | Testing eesel on real tickets |
| Teammate | $299 to $1,749 | 500 to 5,000 credits, no eesel seat fee, community support | Teams keeping their help desk |
| Enterprise | Custom | Teammate plus SSO and MFA, custom data residency, HIPAA with a signed BAA, annual contract | Teams with security and compliance reviews |
| Managed support | $5,000 flat | eesel runs your support team across email, chat, DMs, SMS, WhatsApp, reviews and phone | Brands with up to about 5,000 conversations a month |
| Add-ons | From $199 | SSO and MFA from $199; priority support from $299 | Any plan |
The eesel Teammate Credit Ladder
Teammate is the eesel plan with listed prices, and you buy it as a monthly batch of credits. In October 2026, the eesel pricing page lists ten sizes from 500 to 5,000 credits, each with the same features.
| Credits a month | Monthly price | Price per credit |
|---|---|---|
| 500 | $299 | $0.60 |
| 1,000 | $499 | $0.50 |
| 1,500 | $699 | $0.47 |
| 2,000 | $849 | $0.42 |
| 2,500 | $999 | $0.40 |
| 3,000 | $1,149 | $0.38 |
| 3,500 | $1,299 | $0.37 |
| 4,000 | $1,449 | $0.36 |
| 4,500 | $1,599 | $0.36 |
| 5,000 | $1,749 | $0.35 |
Moving up a size starts a new billing month that day, with a full batch of credits. You also get a billing credit for the unused part of your old batch. A move down takes effect on your next billing date, and you can cancel through Stripe with no cancellation fee.
Above 5,000 credits, you tell the eesel team your volume and they quote a price. The pricing page lists no annual price for any size, and annual billing goes through the eesel team.
How eesel Credits Work
An eesel credit covers one ticket or chat the agent works on, however many replies go back and forth. A refund request that takes four replies costs the same as a one-line password reset.
What Uses an eesel Credit?
- Help desk tickets. Each ticket the agent works on uses 1 credit. The eesel docs add that a ticket needing heavy research can use more, though most never do.
- Chats and messages. A conversation in the chat bubble, Slack or email uses 1 credit.
- Scheduled agents and reports. Each scheduled run uses at least 1 credit.
- Blog posts and images. A full blog post uses several credits, including 1 for each image in it.
- Free work. You use no credits for spam, for tickets you tell the agent to skip, or for work it starts on its own. Most dashboard questions are free too.
Read the full list in the eesel credit rules.
You Pay for Tickets Worked, Resolved or Not
The October 2026 billing docs say tasks use credits "regardless of outcome," and the July 2026 docs said failed tasks cost nothing.
You "pay for every ticket eesel works on, resolved or not," in the words of the eesel blog. Budget a credit for each ticket the agent touches, including ones a person finishes.
What Does a Busy Month Cost on eesel?
A 650-ticket month on the 500-credit batch costs $299 to $499, depending on how you cover the extra 150 tickets. Extra eesel credits cost $0.80 each. That's about a third above the $0.60 per credit on the 500-credit batch and more than double the $0.35 at 5,000.
The pricing page describes overage as a setting you turn on. The billing docs say overage is on by default, with a $200 monthly cap. Set the cap to $0 and the agents pause until your next billing month starts.
At an even pace over 30 days, 650 tickets mean about 22 a day, so the 500 credits run out during day 24. You have three ways to cover the month:
- Cap at $0: you pay $299, and your team answers the last 150 tickets.
- Overage on: you pay $419, with 150 extra credits at $0.80 each.
- The 1,000-credit batch from day one: you pay $499, and 350 credits go unused.

Overage stays cheaper than the next batch until you use 250 extra credits. Those 250 credits cost $200, the same as the default cap, so your bill matches the $499 batch.
Unused credits don't roll over, so leftovers from a slow month disappear at the next reset. Every billing month starts again at your batch size.
Annual Billing, Add-Ons and Enterprise
Annual billing. Pay a year upfront through the eesel sales team and you get two months free, or 16.7% off. At 1,500 credits, that's $699 a month ($582.50 billed yearly), or $8,388 a year ($6,990).
Priority support. From $299 a month, a named person gives you same-day human replies. Without the add-on, you get "eesel first, then a human within a few days" by default.
"Customer support took several business days to answer my questions," one of eesel AI's 20 G2 reviewers wrote in October 2025. In October 2026, eesel AI held a 4.6 rating there.
SSO and MFA. SAML single sign-on and enforced two-factor sign-in cost from $199 a month as an add-on.
Enterprise. This custom-priced plan adds a dedicated setup contact, custom data residency, a DPA and an annual contract. For HIPAA, eesel can sign a BAA after it reviews how you'll use the product with health information.
The eesel SOC 2 Type II audit is still underway, with an observation period that started on 1 October 2026.
Managed support. For a flat $5,000 a month, the eesel team runs your whole support team inside the tools you already use. It's a month-to-month founding-partner offer for brands with up to about 5,000 conversations a month.
Why eesel AI Prices Don't Match Across the Web
Since late 2024, eesel has sold its AI under three pricing models, and the credit model is the one live today. Some third-party pages, one eesel blog post and the eesel Shopify listing still show old price lists.
- Per-interaction plans, late 2024 to March 2026: Team cost $299 monthly ($239 billed yearly) for 1,000 interactions, Business $799 ($639) for 3,000.
- Pay-as-you-go, April to September 2026: $0.40 per ticket or chat and $4 per blog post. By 31 May 2026, the Enterprise plan carried a $1,000 monthly platform fee.
- First credit ladder, early October 2026: six sizes, with 3,500 credits at $1,349 and 5,000 at $1,899.
- Current credit ladder, live by 6 October 2026: ten sizes from $299 to $1,749.

In its April 2026 changelog, eesel announced the pay-as-you-go option. The Shopify App Store listing still shows $0.40 per regular task and a $1,000 Enterprise plan.
Ask eesel to confirm the batch price, the overage setting and the cap in writing before you buy.
What Does eesel AI Cost With Your Help Desk Added?
Your eesel AI cost is the credit batch plus your help desk plan. The eesel blog calls the product "an extra bill on top of your helpdesk seats" in a guide to AI layers. A second eesel post, on Zendesk AI, says the product's "whole design premise is that you keep your helpdesk."
Take six agents and 1,500 tickets a month, with eesel working every ticket on its 1,500-credit batch at $699. Each help desk below is on a plan that fits six agents and 1,500 tickets, at October 2026 list prices. Paid-yearly totals use the two free eesel months and each help desk's annual price.
| Help desk plan | Help desk bill | eesel, 1,500 credits | Monthly total (paid yearly) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zendesk Suite Team, 6 agents | $414 ($330) | $699 ($582.50) | $1,113 ($912.50) |
| Gorgias Pro, 2,000 tickets | $360 ($300) | $699 ($582.50) | $1,059 ($882.50) |
| Help Scout Standard, 6 users | $180 ($150) | $699 ($582.50) | $879 ($732.50) |
| Freshdesk Growth, 6 agents | $138 ($114) | $699 ($582.50) | $837 ($696.50) |

Zendesk's row uses Suite Team, its first plan with messaging and live chat. Grow from six agents to twelve on Suite Team, and your seats rise from $414 to $828 a month. Your eesel batch stays at $699.
Check your help desk's own AI before you add a second bill. Zendesk gives Suite Team 5 automated resolutions per agent each month. Freshdesk's 500 free Freddy AI Agent sessions are a one-time trial per account, and extra sessions cost $49 per 100.
Help Scout bills per user. The eesel docs say live chat on Help Scout needs its own Help Scout user for eesel.
eesel AI vs Helply Pricing
At 1,500 conversations a month with AI on each, Helply costs $399 to $589 at about 4 to 7 credits per conversation. That includes the help desk and unlimited users, while the eesel batch plus a six-agent help desk costs $837 to $1,113. Both totals use list prices for October 2026.
Helply is an AI-native customer support platform built as the help desk itself, with AI agents in every part of it. The platform includes a shared inbox, ticketing with SLAs, live chat, a knowledge base and analytics alongside the agents.
Every plan has unlimited users and runs on a monthly credit block. Blocks range from 500 credits for $49 ($42 billed yearly) to 32,000 for $1,549 ($1,317). You get all three agent types on every plan.
- Investigate and resolve: Support Agent. It digs through your knowledge base, past conversations and connected tools, and can resolve tickets end to end. Anything it can't close goes to a person with the work already done.
- Draft and act on request: Assist Agent. It drafts answers for your team and takes supported Actions when a teammate directs it.
- Watch and act: Background Agents. They monitor conversations, customers and support signals, then alert teammates, update connected systems, open new work items or start workflows.
Helply prices each AI action by how much digging it takes. Drafting a reply from context already in the thread is 1 credit, and checking one or two connected tools is 4. An investigation that chains several systems into a judgment call is 12.
Helply versions and dates its table of credit weights, and existing customers keep their current table until renewal if weights change.
For sizing, Helply's rule of thumb is to "multiply your monthly conversations by about 7 for B2B support, or about 4 for B2C."
Credits on eesel and Helply measure different work. At 1,500 conversations, you'd buy 7,000 Helply credits for $399 ($339) at about 4 each, or 11,000 for $589 ($501) at about 7.
| Conversations a month | eesel batch, help desk extra | Helply at about 4 credits each | Helply at about 7 credits each |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | $299 | $139 ($118), 2,000 credits | $249 ($212), 4,000 credits |
| 1,000 | $499 | $249 ($212), 4,000 credits | $399 ($339), 7,000 credits |
| 1,500 | $699 | $399 ($339), 7,000 credits | $589 ($501), 11,000 credits |
| 2,000 | $849 | $589 ($501), 11,000 credits | $769 ($654), 15,000 credits |
| 3,000 | $1,149 | $769 ($654), 15,000 credits | $1,079 ($917), 22,000 credits |
| 5,000 | $1,749 | $1,079 ($917), 22,000 credits | Enterprise, above 32,000 credits |
Read each row as AI working every conversation, at October 2026 monthly list prices, with Helply's annual prices in parentheses. The eesel column shows monthly prices only, since eesel publishes no annual price. The Helply columns include the help desk and every user.

The billing rules and security status differ too:
- Unused credits. Helply carries unused credits one month forward, and annual plans pool them across the year. The eesel batch resets every month.
- Running out. Helply's spend cap starts at your block price; raise it, and Helply adds blocks as you need them, at your current rate. Extra eesel credits cost $0.80, above the per-credit price of every batch.
- Failed work. Helply prices AI work on complexity, "not on what the answer turns out to be," much as eesel bills regardless of outcome. Neither product charges for spam, and Helply charges nothing for "drafts your team rejects before they reach a customer," retries and failed actions.
- Security. Helply has a SOC 2 Type II report, and the eesel audit is still in progress.
MixWave is an audio software company with 1 to 10 employees. "My tiny team was stuck re-typing answers all day, and we were paying by the seat for a help desk that never got any smarter," says Ernie Slenkovich, Vice President of Operations. On Helply, MixWave redirected one full-time role toward documentation and product quality.
Where Helply Is the Better Fit
Helply suits teams ready to swap the help desk and the AI add-on for one platform and one invoice. Each plan gives you unlimited users and all three agent types, and unused credits carry into the next month. At list prices and about 4 to 7 credits per conversation, 1,500 conversations a month cost $399 to $589 on Helply's plans.
| eesel AI | Helply | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost at 1,500 conversations, list prices | $837 to $1,113 ($696.50 to $912.50) with a six-agent help desk | $399 to $589 ($339 to $501) at about 4 to 7 credits each, help desk included |
| Help desk | A separate bill | Included |
| Users | No eesel seat fee; Zendesk, Freshdesk and Help Scout seats extra | Unlimited users on every plan |
| Unused credits | Reset each month | Carry into the next month |
| Running out | $0.80 per extra credit up to your cap, or agents pause | Next block at your current rate, up to a cap that starts at your block price |
Keep Your Help Desk and Add eesel, or Replace Both?
The eesel agent fits teams staying on Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias or Help Scout with steady volume, plus Shopify stores that want its app. Teams needing a HIPAA BAA can get one on eesel Enterprise after eesel reviews how they'll use the product with health information. If your volume is low, price your help desk's own AI before you add eesel.
Replacing both with Helply suits teams that want one invoice as the team grows. Founders, ops staff and part-timers can answer customers too, because every plan has unlimited users. Your Helply bill stays the same when you hire a seventh or twelfth teammate.
Raise your spend cap, and Helply covers busy months with extra blocks at the rate you already pay. Unused credits from a quiet month carry into the next one.
MixWave swapped its per-seat help desk for Helply with zero migration and slashed its tooling cost. On Zendesk, move part of your queue to Helply, then cut over once you're happy with AI resolution quality and your workflows. On Help Scout, start with one mailbox, such as billing@.
From Zendesk, Freshdesk or Help Scout, you can bring your history over. On Gorgias, run both tools side by side before you cut over.
