8 Best Gorgias Alternatives in 2026, Compared by Cost

Compare 8 Gorgias alternatives by how they bill. See what each costs at 1,500 conversations a month, where Gorgias still fits, and how to switch.

Bildad Oyugi21 min read

Key Takeaways

  • On Gorgias pricing as of October 20, 2026, every replied ticket counts toward your plan, including tickets its AI Agent resolves. Gorgias also bills each AI resolution as an automated interaction: $1.00 ($0.90 annual) inside a bundle and $1.50 past it.
  • At 1,500 conversations a month, four agents and AI resolving 750, monthly list prices run from Helply's $399 to Gorgias Pro's $1,390.
  • Seat-priced Gorgias alternatives charge for each person who answers customers, while Helply has unlimited users and bills AI work in credits.
  • Richpanel, Re:amaze and Help Scout can import your Gorgias history. Because Helply lists no Gorgias import, you run the two side by side first. Helply's integrations directory lists no Shopify app, so store data can come in through a custom app, the API or Zapier.
  • In a Black Friday month at double volume, with AI resolving half, Gorgias Pro lists at $2,875 ($2,796 annual).

The November invoice from Gorgias arrives, and it's more than double October's. Black Friday shoppers pushed the queue past your plan's 2,000 tickets, and Gorgias charged overage at $0.36 a ticket.

On current pricing, every ticket the AI Agent resolved counted twice: once against your ticket allowance and once as an automated interaction. Past the 190 interactions in Pro's bundle, each one cost $1.50. Your four agents answered the tickets the AI couldn't resolve, as they did in October.

If you're shopping for Gorgias alternatives after a bill like that, price each one on tickets, AI resolutions and your peak month.

Gorgias Alternatives at a Glance

Gorgias charges per ticket, then per automated interaction with its AI Agent. Most alternatives charge per agent plus an AI fee, and Helply bills AI work in credits with unlimited users. Each cost covers four agents, 1,500 conversations a month and AI resolving 750, at US list prices on October 20, 2026.

What 1,500 Conversations a Month Costs on Each Gorgias Alternative

At list prices for 1,500 monthly conversations, four agents and AI resolving 750, Helply costs $399 ($339 annual) and Gorgias Pro $1,390 ($1,311). The other seven alternatives cost $484 to $1,371 a month ($468 to $1,315 annual).

Help Scout Standard$682.50 $662.50 4 users at $30 ($25), plus 750 AI resolutions at $0.75
Re:amaze Basic$736.50 $724.904 members at $29 ($26.10), plus 730 AI resolutions at $0.85 past the 20 included

eDesk Essential$938.50 $898.504 agents at $49 ($39), plus 750 AI-answered tickets at $0.99
Zendesk Suite Team $1,371 $1,3154 agents at $69 ($55), plus 730 committed automated resolutions at $1.50 past the 20 included
Gorgias Pro$1,390$1,311 The 2,000-ticket plan at $360 ($300), the 190-interaction AI bundle at $190 ($171), plus 560 interactions at $1.50

On monthly billing, Gorgias Pro costs the most: its AI bundle covers 190 interactions, and the other 560 cost $1.50 each. Each resolution also counts as a ticket, and the plan has to cover all 1,500. Pro's $360 costs less than Basic plus overage, which comes to $540.

On annual billing, Zendesk Suite Team edges past Gorgias Pro, at $1,315 against $1,311.

Help Scout charges $0.75 per AI resolution and Re:amaze $0.85. Intercom charges $0.99 for each Fin outcome, eDesk $0.99 for each AI-answered ticket and Zendesk $1.50 per automated resolution.

Helply's $399 covers AI on all 1,500 conversations, where the AI drafts for your agents and answers customers. If the AI touched only the 750 it resolves, 3,000 credits would fit the 4,000-credit block at $249 ($212).

Zendesk has moved some accounts to resolution tiers since May 18, 2026, and doesn't publish their per-resolution price. Gorgias lets you adjust AI usage inside the app at prices it doesn't list, and Richpanel shows some visitors a second pricing page.

Bar chart of monthly list prices at 1,500 conversations with four agents and AI resolving 750: Helply $399, Freshdesk Growth $484, Richpanel Pro $596, Help Scout Standard $682.50, Re:amaze Basic $736.50, Intercom Essential $858.50, eDesk Essential $938.50, Zendesk Suite Team $1,371 and Gorgias Pro $1,390.

Why Teams Look for a Gorgias Alternative

Gorgias pricing follows ticket volume, never per agent, and Basic and higher plans include 500 user seats. That suits a store with a large team and modest AI use. Teams look elsewhere for four reasons: AI resolutions that count twice, the AI bundle limit, busy-month overage and Shopify-only AI.

Gorgias Bills AI-Resolved Tickets Twice

Gorgias counts a ticket as billable once your helpdesk sends any reply, whether from an agent, the AI Agent or an automatic rule. If the AI Agent resolves a ticket with no human involved, you pay both the ticket fee and the automation fee. Accounts on Gorgias's legacy AI Agent pricing, from before May 28, 2025, pay one fee or the other.

"Each AI Agent interaction also counts as a helpdesk ticket and is billed accordingly," says the FAQ on Gorgias's pricing page. An interaction counts as automated when the customer needs no human agent within 72 hours. Inside the bundle, each one costs $1.00 on monthly billing, or $0.90 on annual plans.

Gorgias Pricing: The Pro AI Bundle Stops at 190 Interactions

Gorgias's pricing page lists one AI bundle per plan: 30 interactions on Starter and Basic, 190 on Pro and 530 on Advanced. On Pro, the bundle adds $190 a month ($171 annual). Past it, every interaction costs $1.50 on either billing cycle.

A store whose AI resolves 750 tickets a month on Pro pays $1,030 for AI alone ($1,011 annual).

Ticket Overage and AI Fees Stack Up in Busy Months

Overage costs $0.40 a ticket on Starter and Basic and $0.36 on Pro and Advanced. Gorgias won't move you to a bigger plan on its own; it recommends one when that would cost less.

A customer who replies after more than 10 days by email, or 3 days by chat or SMS, starts a new ticket. It becomes billable once your helpdesk replies.

Take the 1,500-conversation store into a Black Friday month at 3,000 conversations, with AI resolving 1,500. Staying on Pro, it pays $360 for the plan plus $360 in ticket overage. The AI bundle adds $190, and 1,310 extra interactions add $1,965.

The month's bill reaches $2,875 ($2,796 annual), up from $1,390 ($1,311), while the team stays the same size.

Stacked bars comparing a normal month and a Black Friday month: Gorgias Pro rises from $1,390 to $2,875 with ticket overage and 1,310 extra AI interactions, while Helply moves from the $399 7,000-credit block to the $769 15,000-credit block.
At double volume with AI resolving half, the Gorgias Pro bill more than doubles at monthly list prices. On annual billing, Helply credits pool across the year.

Gorgias AI Agent Covers Shopify Only, and Voice and SMS Cost Extra

Gorgias connects to Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento 2, WooCommerce and PrestaShop. Its AI Agent supports Shopify stores only, and Magento needs Pro or higher.

Starter includes 3 user seats, and Gorgias bills voice and SMS as separate add-ons. Voice starts at $30 a month for 25 calls ($25 annual), and SMS at $20 a month for 25 texts ($17).

How Ecommerce Help Desks Bill: Five Models Compared

Under each model, the bill tracks a different unit: tickets, people, AI resolutions, AI conversations or AI work. Match the model to the number you expect to rise fastest. Small-business help desks use the same billing models, including per-user fees and AI credits.

Diagram of five help desk billing models for ten conversations and four people: per ticket plus AI interaction (Gorgias), per seat plus AI resolution or answer, per seat plus AI session, a flat volume plan, and AI credits with unlimited users (Helply).
Each billing model charges for something different: tickets, people, AI resolutions, AI sessions or AI work.

Credit use rises with how much work the AI does. Helply's monthly ceiling defaults to the block price, so the bill can't climb past it unless you raise it.

1. Helply: Best for Stores That Want AI Agents Without Ticket or Per-User Fees

Helply fits a store that wants to answer more customers with the team it already has. It's a full help desk: shared inbox, messaging, knowledge base, analytics, customer records and workflows, with AI agents built into each part.

The Support Agent answers customers on email, chat, WhatsApp, SMS and other channels, investigates with the tools you connect and takes supported actions. If it can't resolve a request with confidence, it escalates with its findings and the customer's context attached. You set the escalation rules: when it keeps working, asks for help or hands the customer to the right person.

Helply's integrations directory lists no Shopify app, and Gorgias isn't among its migration sources. Through a custom app, the AI agents can look up orders and take the supported actions you expose to them. The API and webhooks, an MCP server or Zapier can carry store data, and Helply connects to Stripe and Chargebee for billing questions.

Illustrative flow of Helply's Support Agent handling a WhatsApp order question: it reads past conversations, looks up the order through a custom app, checks tracking through the API, then resolves the request or hands it to the team, while the Insights Agent flags carrier delays.
An illustrative order question: the Support Agent checks store and tracking data you connect, then resolves the request or hands it over with its findings.

For the requests your team answers, the Assist Agent drafts replies from the conversation, customer context and your Guidelines. It then takes the supported actions your team directs.

Background agents watch every conversation and act on what they find. The Insights Agent surfaces trends and recurring problems, and the Knowledge Agent finds missing answers and outdated information for your team to review. They can also alert a teammate or trigger a workflow.

MyBaggage ships luggage door to door, so the right answer often sits in a live tracking system. Helply's Support Agent resolved 77% of the company's customer questions end to end by pulling that data across web, email and WhatsApp. Anthony Gallagher of MyBaggage describes the rollout:

"Getting started was effortless, and it immediately uncovered gaps in our content we didn't know were there. Now it answers straight from live tracking data across every channel, and it warns us about shipments heading for trouble before the customer does."

Pricing

No plan charges per user or per ticket. You pick a monthly credit block sized to the AI's work. The smallest block holds 500 credits at $49 a month ($42 annual).

The 7,000-credit block costs $399 ($339), and the 15,000-credit block costs $769 ($654). Drafting or summarizing uses 1 credit. A bounded search across one or two systems uses 4, and a multi-system investigation ending in a judgment call uses 12.

Retries, failed actions, drafts your team rejects, spam and no-touch tickets never use credits. Consumer conversations run about 4 credits each, so 1,500 a month need about 6,000 credits, which the 7,000-credit block covers.

Unused credits carry over for one month, then expire. Annual plans pool credits across the year, which suits seasonal stores.

Your monthly ceiling defaults to the block price, with notices at 80% and 95%. Raise it, and auto top-up buys the next block at the rate you already pay. With auto top-up off, the AI pauses at the ceiling while your team keeps working.

Pros

  • Helply charges no ticket fee, so a conversation the AI resolves uses credits and nothing else.
  • Every plan has unlimited users, so seasonal staff and operations teammates can answer customers at no added fee.
  • One credit block funds the Support, Assist and Background agents, and every plan includes all three.
  • Each Skill teaches an agent one type of support work. Agents chain Skills for jobs like checking refund eligibility and preparing the refund.
  • Annual billing pools credits across the year, so a Black Friday month can draw on quieter months.
  • Helply maintains SOC 2 Type II and offers a DPA on request. Its AI providers don't train their models on your customer data.

Cons

  • The integrations directory lists no Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Magento app, so store data needs a custom app, the API or Zapier.
  • Gorgias isn't among Helply's migration sources, so you run both tools side by side before cutting over.
  • Helply counts credits per AI action, whether or not the AI resolves the conversation. A deep investigation costs 12 credits, 12 times a draft, so size your block to the work.

Best For

Stores and consumer brands with seasonal peaks and customers who ask about subscriptions, billing and accounts as well as order status.

2. Freshdesk: Best for Low Seat Prices With AI in Session Packs

Freshdesk is a per-agent help desk that sells its AI Agent in session packs. Freshdesk Growth lists at $484 a month ($468 annual) for 1,500 conversations, four agents and AI resolving 750.

Pricing

Growth costs $23 per agent a month ($19 annual), Pro $66 ($55) and Enterprise $107 ($89). Freddy AI Agent comes with a one-time allowance of 500 sessions per account. After that, sessions cost $49 per 100.

A session is each customer interaction with the AI Agent, and an email session spans 72 hours from the first email.

Pros

  • Growth's $23 seat is the lowest monthly seat price of the paid plans; $19 annual ties Zendesk Support Team and Intercom Essential.
  • Its Shopify app lets agents view orders and their status, issue refunds and cancel orders.
  • The first 500 AI Agent sessions cost nothing.

Cons

  • Freddy AI Copilot costs $35 per agent ($29 annual) and needs Pro or Enterprise, which start at $66 per agent ($55).
  • The 500 free sessions come once per account, not every month.
  • Freshdesk doesn't document a Gorgias import, so moving history takes a third-party tool such as Help Desk Migration.

Best For

Stores that want a low seat price and will buy AI sessions as volume grows.

Where Helply Fits Better Than Freshdesk

Choose Helply when more people need to answer customers or AI handles most conversations. Freshdesk adds $23 per agent ($19 annual) and bills every AI session in packs of 100. Helply includes unlimited users and the Assist Agent on every plan, while Freddy AI Copilot costs $35 per agent ($29 annual).

3. Richpanel: Best for Shopify Order Actions With a Gorgias Importer

Richpanel prices per agent and charges for each conversation its AI handles. With four agents and AI resolving 750 of 1,500 monthly conversations, Richpanel Pro comes to $596 a month ($476 annual) at list prices.

Pricing

Pro costs $89 per agent billed monthly ($69 billed annually), and Pro Max $119 ($99), with no minimum seats. Richpanel states that all subscriptions run on yearly contracts.

Its Customer Service AI lists at $0.20 per AI-handled conversation. Richpanel's pricing calculator shows a $240 monthly minimum ($200 annual). Some visitors see a second pricing page: seats at $119 ($99) and AI in credits at about the same rate on annual billing.

Pros

  • Agents manage Shopify orders, discounts, addresses and refunds, and create draft orders, from the Richpanel dashboard.
  • A direct importer brings over your Gorgias data with a Gorgias API key.
  • The AI minimum covers up to 1,000 AI-handled conversations, so 750 a month cost $240 ($200) in AI fees.

Cons

  • Seats start at $89 ($69), the highest entry seat price among the seven seat-priced alternatives.
  • Richpanel bills AI per conversation it handles, with a $240 ($200) monthly minimum on top of seat fees.

Best For

Shopify stores that want order edits inside the help desk and a direct import from Gorgias.

Where Helply Fits Better Than Richpanel

Look at Helply if your support team is growing, since Richpanel charges $89 per agent ($69 annual) on top of its AI fees. Every Helply plan has unlimited users. Its agents can handle order, subscription and billing questions once you connect your store data through a custom app or the API.

4. Help Scout: Best for Email-First Stores

Help Scout prices per user and charges for each AI Answers resolution. On Help Scout Standard, four users and 750 AI resolutions out of 1,500 conversations total $682.50 a month ($662.50 annual) at list prices.

Pricing

Standard costs $30 per user a month ($25 annual), Plus $54 ($45) and Pro $90 ($75) with a 10-user minimum. Extra inboxes cost $12 a month ($10 annual).

AI Answers costs $0.75 per resolution, charged once per session and billed monthly. Help Scout counts a resolution when AI Answers resolves a chat session without human help, so the $682.50 total assumes 750 AI-resolved chats. You can set a monthly spending cap.

Pros

  • A small store can start free, with 5 users, 1 inbox, 1 Docs site and 100 contacts a month.
  • Its Shopify app lets agents edit, duplicate, cancel and refund orders.
  • Help Scout's import tool, run with Import2, lists Gorgias as a source on Standard, Plus and Pro.

Cons

  • Every user who answers customers adds $30 ($25) or more a month.
  • AI resolutions cost $0.75 each on top of seats.
  • The import leaves out users, inbox settings and knowledge base articles.

Best For

Email-first stores with small teams that want a free start.

Where Helply Fits Better Than Help Scout

Help Scout adds $30 per user ($25 annual) for everyone who answers customers, plus $0.75 for each AI resolution. Helply covers the help desk, all three AI agents and every user in one credit block, at $399 ($339) for 1,500 conversations.

5. Re:amaze: Best for a Free Gorgias Migration

Re:amaze prices per team member and includes a monthly allowance of AI resolutions with each seat. It also offers a free native migration tool for stores leaving Gorgias. At list prices, Re:amaze Basic costs $736.50 a month ($724.90 annual) for 1,500 conversations, four members and AI resolving 750.

Pricing

Basic costs $29 per member a month ($26.10 annual) and includes 5 AI resolutions per user. Pro costs $49 ($44.10) with 10, and Plus $69 ($62.10) with 20.

Each extra AI resolution costs $0.85.

Starter is a flat $59 a month for up to 500 responded conversations, on monthly billing only. Every AI resolution on it costs $0.85.

Pros

  • The migration tool moves roles, staff, departments, categories, messages and conversations from Gorgias at no charge.
  • Agents can manage, modify and create Shopify orders from support conversations and chats.
  • Starter's flat $59 suits a small store under 500 responded conversations a month.

Cons

  • Basic includes 5 AI resolutions per seat, so 750 resolutions add $620.50 in extras for four seats.
  • Starter includes no AI resolutions and bills monthly only.

Best For

Shopify stores that want per-seat pricing, Shopify order tools and a free move from Gorgias.

Where Helply Fits Better Than Re:amaze

Helply fits better when the AI resolves much of the queue. Re:amaze Basic adds $620.50 for 750 AI resolutions on top of four $29 seats ($26.10 annual). On Helply, AI work on 1,500 conversations fits a $399 block ($339 annual), with the full help desk and unlimited users.

6. Intercom: Best for Chat-Led Brands That Want Fin

Intercom prices its help desk per seat and charges for each outcome from Fin, its AI agent. The company took the name Fin on May 12, 2026, and kept Intercom as the help desk's name. Salesforce has owned Fin, the company behind Intercom, since its acquisition closed on September 10, 2026.

Pricing

Essential costs $29 per seat a month ($19 annual), Advanced $99 ($85) and Expert $139 ($132). Fin costs $0.99 for each outcome, either a resolution or a procedure handoff, charged once per conversation. At list prices, Intercom Essential costs $858.50 a month ($818.50 annual) for 1,500 conversations, four seats and 750 Fin outcomes.

Fin also works on top of another help desk, for $49 a month with 50 outcomes included, then $0.99 each.

Pros

  • Its Shopify app lets agents edit shipping details, issue refunds and create orders inside Intercom.
  • Escalations a customer asks for don't count as billable outcomes.

Cons

  • Copilot costs another $35 per agent ($29 annual), on top of seats and Fin outcomes.
  • Intercom lists no Gorgias importer; you move history through the API, following its migration guide.

Best For

Brands whose support runs through chat and that want Fin as their AI agent.

Where Helply Fits Better Than Intercom

Helply suits a brand that wants the AI's whole workload, drafting included, in one credit block. Intercom bills $29 per seat ($19 annual), $0.99 for every Fin outcome and $35 per agent ($29 annual) for Copilot. On Helply, the same 1,500 conversations fit a 7,000-credit block at $399 ($339), with the Assist Agent and unlimited users.

7. eDesk: Best for Sellers Who Run Several Stores

eDesk prices per agent, and each plan covers a set number of stores: 1 on Essential, 5 on Growth and 10 on Professional. Its AI Agent costs $0.99 once per ticket when it answers a customer or takes an action. For four agents, with AI answering 750 of 1,500 conversations, eDesk Essential runs $938.50 a month ($898.50 annual) at list prices.

Pricing

Essential costs $49 per agent a month ($39 annual), Growth $115 ($89) and Professional $149 ($119). The AI Agent costs the same $0.99 on monthly and annual billing.

Pros

  • Growth and Professional cover 5 and 10 stores, which suits brands selling on several storefronts.
  • Agents can process Shopify returns, cancellations and order adjustments inside eDesk.
  • eDesk's onboarding team migrates tickets, contacts, macros and tags from Gorgias.

Cons

  • Essential covers one store, so a second storefront means Growth at $115 per agent ($89 annual).
  • At $49 a seat ($39 annual), Essential costs more than the entry seats of Freshdesk, Help Scout, Re:amaze and Intercom.

Best For

Sellers who run several stores and want them in one help desk.

Where Helply Fits Better Than eDesk

Each person you add to eDesk costs $49 more ($39 annual), and each ticket its AI answers or acts on adds $0.99. Helply's credit block covers AI work on 1,500 conversations for $399 ($339), with no per-user fees, in one inbox across every channel.

Teams that want a per-agent suite, with Shopify refunds and cancellations in the Support sidebar.

Where Helply Fits Better Than Zendesk

A queue where AI resolves a large share suits Helply better. Zendesk charges $69 per Suite Team agent ($55 annual) plus $1.50 per resolution past the allowance, and sells Copilot from Suite Professional up. On Helply, one $399 block ($339) covers AI on 1,500 conversations, with unlimited users and no per-user charge for the Assist Agent.

How to Choose a Gorgias Alternative

Choose a Gorgias alternative by pricing your normal and peak months on each tool, then checking Shopify actions and migration.

  1. Pull 90 days of Gorgias data: replied tickets, automated interactions and your busiest month.
  2. Price each tool at a normal month and at that peak month, with seats and AI fees included.
  3. List the Shopify actions your team uses each week, such as refunds, cancellations and address changes, and check each tool's app.
  4. Check how your history moves: Richpanel and Re:amaze import from Gorgias, Help Scout uses Import2, and eDesk's onboarding team migrates tickets.
  5. Run one mailbox on the new tool beside Gorgias, and cut over when the results hold.
Decision guide matching store needs to a shortlist: stay on Gorgias, Richpanel or Re:amaze, Freshdesk, Help Scout, eDesk, Intercom, Zendesk, or Helply for credits for AI work, unlimited users and no ticket fee.
Start from what matters most, then shortlist the tool beside it.

Then match the tool to your main need:

  • Order edits inside the help desk and a direct import: Richpanel or Re:amaze.
  • The lowest monthly seat price: Freshdesk Growth, at $23 per agent ($19 annual).
  • A free start for a small team: Help Scout's free plan, for 5 users and 100 monthly contacts.
  • Several storefronts in one help desk: eDesk, with plans covering up to 10 stores.
  • Fin as your AI agent: Intercom.
  • Credits for AI work, unlimited users and no ticket fee: Helply.

Stay on Gorgias or Move to Helply?

Stay on Gorgias if most of your queue is Shopify order edits and your AI volume fits the bundle. Among Gorgias alternatives, Richpanel and Re:amaze serve Shopify stores that want a Gorgias import; Freshdesk and Help Scout suit tight seat budgets. Move to Helply if AI resolutions and peak months drive your Gorgias bill, or more people need to answer customers.

Helply has no ticket fee. You spend credits on the AI's work, and spam, no-touch tickets, retries and rejected drafts never use them. If you raise your ceiling, extra credits cost the rate you already pay; Gorgias Pro charges $1.50 per interaction past its bundle.

A Black Friday month at 3,000 conversations, with AI resolving half, needs about 12,000 credits. On monthly billing, moving up to the 15,000-credit block for that month costs $769, against $2,875 on Gorgias Pro at list prices. On annual billing at $339 a month, the 7,000-credit block pools 84,000 credits a year, enough for 11 normal months plus that peak.

The Support Agent checks the systems you connect and can resolve a request, or hands your team the investigation already done. On handed-over conversations, the Assist Agent drafts replies for your four agents to review and send. At MyBaggage, the Insights Agent flags at-risk shipments, so the team often fixes a problem before the customer writes in.

At 1,500 conversations a month, Helply's 7,000-credit block costs $399 ($339 annual) for the help desk, all three agents and every user.

Start with one mailbox beside Gorgias, give it its own credit allowance, and cut over when its resolution rate holds up.

AI Agent adds $1.00 per automated interaction ($0.90 annual) inside a bundle, and $1.50 past it.

  • No. Gorgias calls itself a conversational AI platform for ecommerce, with two products: Helpdesk and AI Agent. It doesn't describe either one as a CRM.

  • Online stores use Gorgias to answer customer emails, chats and messages in one ecommerce helpdesk. Its AI Agent can resolve requests for Shopify stores.

  • No. Gorgias connects to Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento 2, WooCommerce and PrestaShop. AI Agent support covers Shopify stores only, and Magento needs Pro or higher.

  • Gorgias started in Paris in 2015. Gorgias Inc. lists a San Francisco address, and the company has offices in San Francisco, Toronto, New York, Belgrade and Paris.

  • Yes, on Gorgias pricing as of October 20, 2026. If AI Agent resolves a ticket with no human help within 72 hours, Gorgias charges the automation fee and the ticket fee. If a person steps in, only the ticket counts; legacy accounts from before May 28, 2025, pay one fee or the other.

  • Gorgias's closest competitors are Richpanel, Re:amaze and eDesk, ecommerce help desks that connect to Shopify and price per agent. Zendesk, Freshdesk, Help Scout and Intercom are broader help desks with Shopify apps. Helply puts AI agents inside a full help desk, including its inbox, knowledge base and analytics, and every plan has unlimited users.

  • Help Scout's free plan suits a small team, with 5 users and a limit of 100 contacts a month. Re:amaze Starter costs a flat $59 a month for up to 500 responded conversations. With four agents and AI resolving half of 1,500 monthly conversations, Helply costs the least at list prices: $399 a month ($339 annual).

  • At 1,500 conversations with AI resolving 750, Gorgias Pro costs more than Zendesk Suite Team on monthly billing and less on annual. Gorgias Pro lists at $1,390 a month ($1,311 annual), and Suite Team at $1,371 ($1,315) for four agents. Zendesk Support Team costs $1,195 ($1,171) at the same volume.

  • Yes, with Richpanel's direct importer, Re:amaze's free migration tool, Help Scout's Import2 import or eDesk's onboarding team. Help Desk Migration also lists Gorgias as a source. Helply doesn't list a Gorgias import, so you run it beside Gorgias and cut over when results hold.

  • As of October 20, 2026, Helply's integrations directory lists no Shopify app. Store data can reach its agents through a custom app, the API and webhooks, an MCP server or Zapier. AI agents can use a custom app where you've exposed it as a Tool or Action.

  • At 3,000 conversations, with AI resolving 1,500, Gorgias Pro lists at $2,875 a month ($2,796 annual), up from $1,390 ($1,311). On Helply's monthly billing, moving up to the 15,000-credit block for that month costs $769. Annual plans pool credits, so the bill can stay at $339 if the other 11 months hold at 1,500 conversations.
